Full-Time Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
Location: Topeka, KS
Shift: Includes evenings and weekends (see our office hours)
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician to join our emergency team. As an RVT at EAC Topeka, you will play a critical role in triage, anesthesia monitoring, emergency surgery assistance, and inpatient care. This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your full range of technical skills in a high-acuity environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform rapid triage and stabilization of incoming patients.

Administer and monitor anesthesia for emergency procedures.

Place IV catheters, perform blood draws, and execute laboratory diagnostics.

Provide high-level nursing care for hospitalized patients.

Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients during stressful situations.
Qualifications:

Current RVT license in the state of Kansas (or eligibility to obtain).

Experience in emergency medicine is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with strong foundational skills.

Ability to remain calm under pressure and work collaboratively in a team environment.

Flexibility to work evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
